New Product Line: Power Line Mission Equipment
Simplex Manufacturing will unveil an innovative line of airborne power line maintenance and construction products at Heli-Expo 2006. The equipment is the only of its kind available on the open market from a single manufacturer, and it will be on display in Static exhibit 17.
Simplex will share the manufacture and sales of the products, which were developed in conjunction with Mack Innovations of Queensland, Australia. Mack Innovations will retain Australia and New Zealand for sales and Simplex will serve all areas outside of those two countries.
Steven Daniels, President and CEO of Simplex, said operators who fly, or wish to fly, challenging power line maintenance missions worldwide will welcome the innovative products, which include the Hydra multi-purpose mission equipment mounting system, the Javelin high-pressure (2,000 psi) insulator washing system, the Vector exterior work platform, and Mackpull, a dual-direction side-mounted wire pulling cargo hook mount for power line construction.
“The Simplex name is synonymous with reliable, quality products,” Daniels said. “That is of critical importance to power line operators.”
The range of equipment is now available for AS 350 and AS 355 helicopters and soon will be available for other helicopters.
